Natural vs. Blends

Fabric choices when purchasing adaptive clothing. The consideration of fabric choices is important for both comfort and durability.

Natural fabrics like cotton, linen and bamboo are breathable and gentle on the skin, making them great choices for sensitive individuals. they provide comfort and allow for great air circulation. 

Blends, combine natural and synthetic fibers which offer benefits of both types of fabrics.  A cotton-polyester blend offers the softness of cotton with the added durability and wrinkle resistance of polyester.  Cotton-Spandex and also enhance stretch and flexibility, which can be particularly useful for adaptive clothing. 

 

Ultimately, the fabric choice will depend on the specific needs and preferences of the individual wearing the clothing.  It's improtant to consider factors such as comfort, skin sensitivities, ease of care, and specific adaptive features when making your decision.
